What’s in a name?

My name is pronounced as follows:

Where I come from, we follow patronymic naming. So, my given name is actually R. Shriram, where R stands for Raja which is my father’s first name. To match the convention that is common in other parts of India and the world, I moved the initial to the other side of my first name. So, when I say, "Call me Shriram", it's because Raja is literally my father.
